MIXING
at 4CN-STUDIOS
Your own recordings sound flat and dull compared to others? Send us the individual tracks for mixing and we’ll take them to the next level.
Mixing is the process of taking the individual channels that make up a song and blending the respective instruments, vocals, etc. together to create a homogeneous, balanced piece of music. The goal is to transport the song’s moods and emotions to the listener and to get as close as possible to the precise effect the musician aims to achieve. It doesn't matter how good the quality and content of a song is if the sound isn’t quite right, is not controlled sufficiently or even has negative characteristics (too dull, too shrill, etc.).
Thanks to our years of experience in various genres, we can mix your music material professionally and with the necessary finesse to give you a sound that is up to date, competitive and, above all, meets high quality standards. Our studios offer a neutral, acoustic listening environment; combined with the targeted use of EQ, compressors and time-based effects (such as echo chambers, delays, etc.), this makes for a denser, more captivating and more balanced sound than any mix made at home or in a rehearsal space. We exclusively use high-quality analog and digital tools in our racks and as plug-in formats.
If you have already recorded instruments or tracks, we can generally improve these dramatically during mixing and take them to the next level, achieving a sound that stands out from that of any demos you have produced yourself. This, of course, means we also mix music that has not been recorded at our studios.
